Mr and Mrs Signature Cocktails

Two signature drinks inspired by our first loves, our cats, Remy and Logan

The Logan

1 ounce vodka
1 ounce gin
1 ounce white rum
1 ounce white tequila
1/2 ounce Triple Sec
2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 Sprite, or to taste
1 Orange wedges

Shake all ingredients well with ice in a cocktail shaker.
Pour into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a slice of lime or orange peel.

The Remy

1½ ounces dry gin
¾ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ ounce simple syrup (or to taste)
¾ ounce crème de mûre (blackberry liqueur) or crème de cassis (see headnote)
garnish of fresh blackberries and/or a lemon wheel (optional)

Place the gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker that’s half filled with ice. Shake vigorously until the contents are well chilled (20 seconds or so).
